The grapes for this wine come from the finest vineyards in Tattendorf. They are processed with great care, and the must immediately ferments under temperature control in open must tanks. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels where it matures for 16 months. Deliberately prized as a very elegant red wine, it is always understated and exceptionally juicy. Varietal typicity, harmony, and ripe fruit predominate. A lively wine with great power and a long finish.
